At OUTbio, we believe mentorship is a powerful tool for building a stronger, more connected, and empowered LGBTQIA+ biotech community.

Whether you're just launching your career, navigating a transition, or looking to give back as a mentor, the OUTbio Mentorship Program helps foster meaningful connections across roles, industries, and career stages.

What to Expect

Flexible, low-pressure engagement: Mentor–mentee pairs connect on a schedule that works for them.
Goal-driven relationships: Mentees are encouraged to come with questions, goals, or specific areas they'd like to explore (e.g., career transitions, leadership, networking).
Support for both sides: Resources and check-ins will be provided to help pairs get the most out of the experience.

How to Join

We welcome LGBTQ+ professionals in biotech of all levels to sign up as mentors, mentees, or both!

Step 2: Review & Sign the Liability Waiver

After submitting the form, you’ll automatically receive a copy of the OUTbio Mentorship Liability Waiver via email. Please review and save it for your records.

Matching & Timeline

- Sign-ups close: Early Fall 2026

- Pairings announced: Mid Fall 2026

We’ll do our best to match participants based on experience level, interest area, and professional goals.
