Thanks so much for reaching. I have been doing great since receiving this scholarship! I graduated from Harvard summa cum laude in May 2024, and I am currently in my second year at Columbia for medical school. This scholarship made a tremendous difference in helping cover my tuition during undergrad, and I am still grateful for all the support this scholarship has provided. The OUTbio organization is doing great work!

The scholarship helped me a lot in terms of navigating the school year financially. I am currently working as a summer intern in the Section on Functional Imaging Methods at the National Institutes of Health, studying visual perception in patients with cortical blindness. I am also 1 of 15 Boston University Harold C. Case Scholars, an award given to outstanding juniors recognized for their scholarly achievements.
