Founded in 2015 and incorporated as a non-profit in 2019, OUTbio is the largest LGBTQ+ professional organization in the biotech industry, with over 1,200 members spanning all sectors of biotech.
Based in Boston, the global leader in biomedical innovation, OUTbio’s mission is to empower LGBTQ+ professionals and allies in biotechnology and related industries. By fostering a community built on networking, education, and advocacy, we connect professionals to opportunities for growth and support.
Through monthly events and strategic partnerships with biotech and pharma organizations, OUTbio aims to create an inclusive space for learning and collaboration, advancing diversity within drug development and beyond.
