Hello OUTbio,

 

The next OUTbio event will be hosted by first time host Waters IMMERSE Cambridge. The event will be held Thursday December 4th from 5:00-8:00 pm ET at their 301 Binney Street location, in Suite 102. The entrance is located right on Binney Street.

 

IMMERSE Cambridge is pleased to co-host their first OUTbio Event. All are welcome to join, but make sure you get your ticket quickly if you're interested in seeing Waters latest instrumentation up-close and learn about collaboration opportunities. If you have a particular interest in seeing their instrumentation but you find the event is sold out when you try to register, please email Ramsey at ramsey@outbio.org for a ticket.

 

At IMMERSE Cambridge, their mission is to build powerful, intuitive instruments to unlock the next generation of scientific advancements. They firmly believe that collaboration and partnerships across academia, research, and industry are key to accelerate this mission. They have installed the latest cutting-edge analytical, informatics, and automation tools in their IMMERSE Cambridge facility, and they welcome engagement from the local scientific community.

Additional details will be forthcoming but there will likely be a structured networking activity and, as always, food and bar.

Our events have been reaching capacity very quickly and in an effort to allow more OUTbio members to attend, registration will be limited to one ticket per OUTbio member. Also, if you register to attend but your plans change, please cancel your registration so that others from the waitlist can attend.

 

As we have done for the past few events, we will be holding some "tickets" for those that have NEVER attended an OUTbio event. Please email Ramsey at ramsey@outbio.org if you are unable to register for this event before it reaches capacity and have not attended previously.

Also, as was stated previously, we are actively trying to get more women and people of color (POC) to attend our events. If you know a woman or POC that is not a member of OUTbio and/or has never been to one of our events, please email Ramsey at ramsey@outbio.org. The individual will receive a personal invitation to join OUTbio's mailing list and will be manually registered for the next OUTbio event, even if the Eventbrite event is sold out.

 

As always, the event is invitation only so if you know of someone that would like to attend but is not a member of OUTbio please have them email Ramsey at ramsey@outbio.org.
